Russia’s largest bank has received a license to issue crypto currencies from the country’s central bank
Sberbank, Russia’s largest bank, has received a license to issue digital financial assets from the country’s central bank. Digital financial assets is a term used in Russia to refer to different types of crypto currencies. The news of obtaining this license was confirmed by Asberbank on Thursday. The permit comes as Russia imposes various sanctions on Ukraine over its military offensive, including restricting access to the global financial market.
